Since 2007, Kourtney Kardashian and her family have entertained millions with their E! reality show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” But after the TV star’s bombshell announcement, insisting that she was ready to leave the show, fans are wondering what the future will hold for Kourt.

It would seem as if people have forgotten that being on a reality show is just one of many ways the Kardashians have earned their money over the years. That’s not to say that E! doesn’t pay them well - because they do - but for right now, Kourtney’s interests are elsewhere.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight in November 2019, Kourtney made it known that she was planning to focus more time on raising her children, Mason, Penelope, and Reign. In doing so, she will no longer be inviting the cameras into her home anymore.

"I just decided to spend more time as a mom and put more of my energy there,” the reality star told ET. “But I’m not saying goodbye,” added, giving hope that she could eventually be open to the idea of returning.

Why She Wanted To Quit The Show

Khloe had chimed in, adding that "we love Kourtney and we'll miss Kourtney and whatever she decides to do. I feel like it's a revolving door, so Kourtney might leave this week, [but] she'll be back. They all come back."

Kourtney’s storyline will be the main focus in “KUWTK” season 18, which is set to premiere later this year. Viewers will see how the family initially reacted to the news, especially since Kourt has played a major role in the show since it first premiered back in 2007.

How Will Kourtney Make Money?

Many have wondered what she will do when she’s officially left “KUWTK,” but if it’s a new career move that the 40-year-old is hoping for, she won’t be looking too far because Kourtney is already the owner of her own lifestyle brand named Poosh.

And while she hasn’t followed in her footsteps by launching her own cosmetics line, given the success of Kylie Cosmetics and KKW, it wouldn’t be too far of a stretch for Kourtney to build her own beauty brand.

Kourtney Doesn't Really Need To Work

On top of that, Kourtney makes a fortune from sponsored posts. The Kardashians are known to charge up to $1 million just for publicizing another company’s product on their many social media pages.

Needless to say, Kourtney Kardashian certainly won’t be going broke anytime soon.

It's still unclear whether Kourt will be seen throughout the entire upcoming series or whether she will dip in and out before making her exit for good. Either way, fans are eager to see the drama play out when "KUWTK" returns.
