This fall, legendary rock bands, country stars, comedians and more are coming to spice things up - and we don't mean pumpkin spice - in Knoxville.

Classic rock bands Guns N’ Roses, KISS and Chicago and country legends Shania Twain, Tanya Tucker and The Chicks all are slated to perform in venues in the city.

Fans of Kevin Gates, Wayne Newton and Peppa Pig can get excited because they’ll be here, too. And comedians Jo Koy, Daniel Tosh and Lewis Black will stop by to bring the laughs.

Blue October

Sept. 8 – Mill and Mine

  • Alternative rock band Blue October has charted 17 Top 40 singles on Billboard charts, including “Down Here Waiting,” from their September 2023 album “Spinning the Truth Around: Part II.” The band is best known for platinum singles "Hate Me" and "Into the Ocean."

Guns N’ Roses

Sept. 12 – Thompson-Boling Arena

  • Legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses is one of the biggest-selling music acts of all-time with popular songs such as “Welcome to the Jungle,” Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door.” The band Dirty Honey is the special guest for the Knoxville show of the Gun N’ Roses world tour.

Autumn Nicholas

Sept. 13 – Tennessee Theatre

  • Singer-songwriter Autumn Nicholas blends pop soul melodies with acoustic Americana. They are a co-founder of eQuality Events, an organization that creates opportunities for music to transcend gender, identity, genre and color. Adeem the Artist is the special guest.

Wayne Newton

  • Mr. Las Vegas is coming to Knoxville. Since starting his prolific Vegas career in the 1950s, classic crooner Wayne Newton has performed 50,000 shows for more than 40 million people. He just extended his current Vegas residency through 2024, but Knoxvillians can get “up close and personal” with the entertainer as he sings his biggest hits and shares stories.

ZOSO: Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience

Sept. 15 – Bijou Theatre

  • ZOSO is celebrating 28 years as one of the top Led Zeppelin tribute bands. The quartet formed in the mid-‘90s and has performed more than 4,500 shows. The L.A. Times described the group as “head and shoulders above all other Led Zeppelin tributes.”

  • Knoxville Symphony’s chamber concert series opens with Mozart. William Shaub tackles Mozart’s most expansive violin solo Violin Concerto No. 5. Dame Ethel Smyth’s first orchestral work, “Serenade in D Major,” and Jorge Variego’s, “BLINK,” bookend the program.

Daniel Tosh

Sept. 18 – Tennessee Theatre

  • Comedian Daniel Tosh is making his away across the South for his “Sweet T” tour. Tosh become a popular internet sensation, which led to late night appearances, comedy specials and the long-running “Tosh.0” Comedy Central series.

  • Tickets: $45

  • Showtime: 7 and 9:30 p.m.

  • The Chicks had to reschedule their July concert to Sept. 21. The 13-time Grammy-winning trio is known for songs such as “Not Ready to Make Nice” and “Wide Open Spaces.” Their most recent album, “Gaslighter,” was released in 2020. Canadian folk band Wild Rivers will perform also.

Emily Ann Roberts

Sept. 21 – Bijou Theatre

  • From Knoxville to the Grand Ole’ Opry, Emily Ann Roberts’ star continues to rise. The Knoxville native is celebrating the release of her debut album at the Bijou. “Can’t Hide Country” comes out Sept. 22. Roberts co-wrote most of the songs and collaborated with Ricky Skaggs and Vince Gill. “Walkin’ Shoes” and “Chickens” are her latest singles.

Christopher Titus

Sept. 22 – Bijou Theatre

  • Part confessional, part therapy and all laughs, comedian Christopher Titus explores family, mental illness and even suicide in his “Carrying Monsters” show. Titus recently released “Zero Side Effects," his 10th comedy special, in which he tackles white supremacy, millennials and Gen Z, and he recounts a life-altering dental experience.

  • Jo Koy is one of today’s top standup comics. Drawing inspiration from his son and his Filipino-American family, Koy has new material for his world tour. And he’s set to have two new Netflix specials in 2024.

  • Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter are a husband-and-wife duo that gives revival-like performances with their joyful fusion of Southern soul, gospel, country and rock-and-roll. They have collaborated with Dierks Bentley, Mumford & Sons, Sturgill Simpson, and have opened for artists John Legend, Brandi Carlile and Lauren Daigle.

  • The Canadian rock band is bringing its Get Rollin’ tour (and a custom six-wheeled “boogie van”) to Knoxville. Nickelback is known for the songs “Photograph,” "How You Remind Me,” “Rockstar” and “Someday.”

  • Married couple Abner Ramirez and Amanda Sudano translate memories and milestones into soulful anthems. The singer-songwriter duo experiments with pop, folk, soul and blues sounds. Their self-titled album, “Johnnyswim,” was released in 2022.

Here Come the Mummies

Oct. 12 – Tennessee Amphitheater

  • The funk rock band of Grammy winning Nashville musicians dressed as Egyptian mummies is the final show of the Concerts for Our Own fundraising series. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Knoxville area charities The Love Kitchen, Breast Connect and Special Spaces.

  • The concert is at the Tennessee Amphitheater at World's Fair Park and tickets are available at concertsforourown.org.

Dylan Scott

Oct. 12 – Mill and Mine

  • Country pop singer Dylan Scott is living his best life. He has seen steady success since releasing his first album in 2016 and released his second, “Livin’ My Best Life,” in 2022. Scott most recently performed the national anthem at the 2023 USFL Championship Game in Ohio.

  • Country superstar Shania Twain has sold more than 100 million records, and she’s not done. The “Queen of Me” tour is Twain’s first in five years. Though she’s known for hits including “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman,” the tour is in support of her sixth album, “Queen of Me,’ which was released earlier this year.

Oct. 17 – Knoxville Civic Coliseum

  • Sashay into “The Twilight Zone” with stars of “RuPaul's Drag Race” for the 12th Annual Night of the Living Drag tour. This fun Halloween show is hosted by “Drag Race” season 11 winner Yvie Oddly and features Angeria, Denali, Icesis Couture, Jaida Essence Hall, Jorgeous, Plastique, Rose and Tayce. This event is 18 and older.

Kelsea Ballerini: The Homecoming Show

  • Country star and Knoxville native Kelsea Ballerini will come home for a one-night-only concert at Thompson-Boling Arena. It's Ballerini's first headlining arena show, organizers say. In promotional images for “The Homecoming Show,” she's got a Vols jacket casually slung over one shoulder. Ingrid Andress and Georgia Webster will open for her.

  • The Newsboys are one of the biggest Christian rock bands in history, selling more than 10 million records since forming in the ‘80s. The Grammy-nominated band’s signature songs are “We Believe,” “Born Again” and the hit “God’s Not Dead,” which inspired a film franchise of the same name.

KISS will visit Knoxville in November during what is expected to be the classic rock band's final tour.

  • See KISS one last time. The classic rock band is making a pitstop in Knoxville on its "End of the Road” world tour, which is expected to be its final tour ever. The band started 50 years ago, in New York City in 1973. KISS was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.

Kevin Gates

Nov. 30 – Knoxville Civic Coliseum

  • Kevin Gates has “2 Phones” and he’s calling Knoxville. The rapper is making a stop at the Civic Auditorium on his “Only Generals” tour. Gates has released five top 10 albums and mixtapes. His latest single, “Breakfast,” was released earlier this year.

  • Tickets: $51.50+
