An upscale seafood restaurant with branches in New York, Los Angeles, Aspen, Miami and Las Vegas, is coming to Scottsdale.

Catch first opened in New York in 2011. Since then, the Catch Hospitality Group, owned by Tilman Fertitta, Mark Birnbaum and Eugene Remm, has added other seafood and steakhouses nationally. Scottsdale will be its ninth location.

Slated to open in the first quarter of 2025, the 11,800-square-foot restaurant will boast a sleek, modern design and be located on the ground floor of Scottsdale's Fashion Square mall.

“By combining the elegance and sophistication of our upscale eatery with the lively atmosphere of Scottsdale Fashion Square, we are creating a truly unique destination," said Birnbaum, Catch Hospitality Group partner.

Catch was the mystery restaurant bleeped out in "RHONY" premiere

Those who have been following the "Real Housewives of New York City," may have seen a bleeped-out restaurant name in the premiere episode of Season 14. The site of the ensuing drama later was revealed by Erin Lichy as none other than Catch.

When the restaurant opened in 2012, the New York Times called it "a restaurant with a department store’s dimensions and a nightclub’s twitchy heart."

What's on the menu at Catch?

Described as a globally influenced seafood restaurant, some of the menu items at Catch include:

  • Catch roll, made with crab, salmon and miso honey.

  • Crispy shrimp with spicy mayo and tobiko.

  • Cantonese lobster with sake, oyster sauce, scallion and garlic.

  • Lobster macaroni with Maine lobster, lobster cream, breadcrumbs and grated parmesan.

  • Truffle sashimi with tuna, hamachi, chili ponzu and black truffle purée.

Cocktail examples include Kali, made with jalapeño-infused Dobel Diamante Tequila, Grand Marnier, Campari, passionfruit and yuzu as well as Dirtier Bastard, made with Great Jones bourbon, ginger, lime, lemon-tea cordial and soda.

The restaurant also offers wine and sake.

When is Catch opening in Scottsdale?

Catch is slated to open in the first quarter of 2025.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to become a part of this incredible city and look forward to introducing the Catch experience to the Scottsdale community,” said Catch Hospitality partner Eugene Remm in a release.
