An Adorable Engagement
Bindi Irwin got a lovely present for her 21st birthday: an engagement ring from her longtime boyfriend Chandler Powell. She posted a lovely message on Instagram to commemorate the occasion:

He's American
Irwin and Powell met in 2013 when he was in Australia for a professional wake boarding competition and visited the Australia Zoo. Bindi was giving tours that day -- following in her parents Steve and Terri Irwin's iconic footsteps -- and it was pretty much love at first sight.
He's an American and attended the University of Central Florida, but he has since moved to Australia to live with the Irwins and work at their zoo.
He Loves Extreme Sports
Powell was a professional wakeboarder as a teenager, but seemingly gave it up around 2016. However, he and Bindi enjoy adventurous activities like exploring waterfalls and surfing.
The Family Loves Him
Perhaps the best part about Powell is how he's already become part of the family. Bindi's brother Robert and Powell are great friends, and Terri posted on Twitter her approval of the engagement, affirming that the late, great Steve Irwin would also approve.
