What to know for Billy Joel and Sting at Petco Park

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Two Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees will join forces this Saturday, April 13 for a one-night-only show in San Diego and what is scheduled to be their only performance on the West Coast.

Billy Joel and Sting are set to share the stage at Petco Park where they will perform some of their greatest hits. The concert kicks off Joel’s 14-show tour, which has stops in eight states and the United Kingdom.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. with the show set to begin at 7 p.m. Re-entry is not permitted at the venue.

Here is a list of specific entry points based on the type of ticket:

Floor/Field:

• Guests with floor tickets (designated as sections A1 – A7 and B2 – B6) must enter at the Gaslamp Breezeway located on 7th Avenue and K Street for floor access.

• Guests with floor tickets (designated as sections A1 – A7 and B2 – B6) will require a specific floor access wristband prior to floor entry. Floor wristbands are available at the Gaslamp Breezeway located on 7th Avenue and K Street.

Seating Bowl

Guests with seating bowl tickets may enter at any gate listed below:

• Gaslamp Gate located at the intersection of K Street and 7th Avenue.

• East Village Gate located at the intersection of K Street and 10th Avenue.

• Park Blvd Gate located at the intersection of Park Boulevard and 10th Avenue.

• Home Plate Gate located at the corner of Park Boulevard and Tony Gwynn Drive.

Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive early. Padres parking lots will open at 1 p.m. for pre-purchased passes.

Joel and Sting will perform together again at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Tex. and at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Oct. 25 and Nov. 9, respectively.
