Thereafter, Jesper in order to complete the task assigned by his father of him posting 6000 letters a year takes advantage of the situation and spreads the word that any kid who gives a letter to Klaus will receive a toy in return. However, with time, Jesper gets more invested in this operation even that influences his relationship with Klaus and the residents of the place.
