Kiwanis holds annual party at Salvation Army

MONROE — The Kiwanis Club of Monroe held its annual Christmas event with the Salvation Army Center for Hope on Wednesday.

"The club purchased gifts for each child living at the center," Sheriff Troy Goodnough said. "Santa was present to distribute the gifts and interact with the children."

Pizza was donated by Jet's. The Kiwanis Club provided fruit, vegetables and pop.
