‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ Rules List of Titles Consumers Are Most Excited About

What are the entertainment offerings that consumers are most excited about? It’s a question that marketers, distributors, advertisers and media publications are always asking.

ScreenShare, a data partnership between Screen Engine/ASI and TheWrap, tracks the Top 10 most-mentioned entertainment options every week and whether each has gained or lost momentum compared to the prior week. The chart lives on the Data & Analysis page of the WrapPRO Members Hub.

Still in theaters, “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” climbs to the No. 1 position this week, while Netflix series “Bridgerton” rises to No. 2 after the first half of Season 3 premiered on May 16. Part 2 will debut in June.

The Ryan Reynolds-led family comedy “IF” moves into the No. 3 position leading up to its May 17 theatrical release date. “Dune: Part Two,” streaming on Max as of May 21, comes in at No. 4. The recent releases of “IF” and “Bridgerton” may have taken some of the conversation away from “Deadpool & Wolverine” which now sits comfortably at No. 5 after surging to No. 1 last week.

Coming in at No. 6 is “NBA Basketball” as the conference finals begin. Amazon’s “Fallout” adaptation holds its position at No. 7 with no change in mentions, while “Yellowstone” rejoins the Top 10 at No. 8 just ahead of the announcement that production is beginning for Part 2 of Season 5. “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” returns at No. 9 and “The Fall Guy” rounds out the Top 10.
