Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes: New Five Minute Preview Shows One Ape Swinging Into Trouble

The trend of studios dropping extended previews of films continues, but this time, the preview comes from an unreleased movie: Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

@Fandango on X (formerly known as Twitter) shared an exclusive look at the upcoming film, which follows one young ape's journey of discovery taking place many years after the reign of fan-favorite character, Caesar.

The five-minute clip shows the sweeping landscape of the film as three apes traverse through, swinging empathetically from place to place.

The trio then stumble upon a majestic bird who has left some eggs behind, which they carefully inspect before continuing on their journey where one of them runs into trouble.

It's unclear which section of the film the preview has come from, but fans have been excited to see something from the anticipated release nonetheless.

Following the five-minute preview is the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes final trailer which delivers one stunning moment.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes swings into theaters this Friday, May 10.
