The series centers on Denita, a gospel superstar who runs the record label Kingdom Records. Just as she is enjoying her success, she is threatened by the rise of Rbel, a young woman who was an exotic dancer. However, amid all this, Denita is determined to protect her family and its secrets no matter what happens. The television series is executive produced by DeVon Franklin, Holly Carter, Kirk Franklin, and Michael Van Dyck.
Yolanda Adams reprises her role as Denita Jordan aka reigning Queen of Gospel and Serayah returns as Rebecca ‘Rbel’ Belle, an upcoming star who threatens Denita’s crown. The other cast members include Michael Jai White as Julius “Caesar” Jones, Michael Beach as Calvin Jordan, Chaundre A. Hall-Broomfield as Taj Jordan, Dominique Johnson as Malcolm Walker, Tamar Braxton as Sasha, and more.
