Created by Karin Gist and Wendy Calhoun, who drew inspiration from the 1999 namesake book by Lawrence Otis Graham, Our Kind of People predominantly takes place in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, and revolves around Angela Vaughn, a single mother determined to re-establish the affluence and prestige of her family and succeed in the world of business with her hair care line. Is there an Our Kind of People Season 2 release date?
There is no Our Kind of People Season 2 release date as Fox canceled the show after Season 1.
In May 2022, Our Kind of People was canceled at Fox after its inaugural season, leaving several mysteries from the season unsolved. This is even though series co-creator Karin Gist revealed in January 2022 that the network was happy with the first season. The show received poor reviews from the critics, and the audience’s response to it wasn’t particularly positive either. These things likely contributed to Fox’s decision to cancel the show.
