‘Kimberly Akimbo,’ ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Some Like it Hot’ Head to the Pantages for Broadway in Hollywood Lineup
Broadway in Hollywood has revealed its lineup of shows coming to the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles for the 2024-2025 season. Among them are “Kimberly Akimbo,” “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” and “Some Like it Hot.”
As previously announced, “Wicked” and “Hamilton” will also be returning.

The newly announced 2024-25 Season kicks off with 2023’s Tony Award winner for best musical, “Kimberly Akimbo.” Next up is “Back to the Future: The Musical,” and then a 19-week run of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.”
“A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical,” which just announced its closure on Broadway, will follow with its L.A. premiere. Also among the 2024-2025 season are “Some Like it Hot” and “Shucked.”
Broadway in Hollywood President Jeff Loeb said in a statement, “Get ready to unlock the magic of Broadway with an all-new Hollywood Pantages season that will cast a spell on theatre lovers everywhere. With six L.A. premieres, all direct from Broadway, and the return of two of the biggest blockbusters to ever grace our stage – what else could a lover of live entertainment wish for? Join us for a journey through time filled with laughter, great music and moments that will enchant us long after the final curtain call. Our 2024-25 season is so good.”

“Hamilton”: Sept. 4 – Oct. 13
Created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, this now staple of the stage tells the story America’s founding fathers (and the often overlooked women and workers behind them) through rap and song.
“Kimberly Akimbo”: Oct. 15 – Nov. 3
This musical follows Kimberly Lavaco, a teenager grappling with a rare condition that accelerates her aging process. Confined to the body of an older woman, Kimberly confronts the usual trials of adolescence. Nominated for 8 Tony Awards “Kimberly” took home the gold for best musical, book, score, leading actress, and supporting actress.
“Back to the Future: The Musical”: Nov. 5 – Dec. 1
It was a movie, now it’s a musical Follow the adventures of Doc and Marty as they travel back and wind up playing cupid to Marty’s parents (lest he not be born at all) and also dance.
“Wicked”: Dec. 4 – Feb. 2, 2025

“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”: Feb. 13, 2025 – June 22, 2025
The critically adored play picks up nineteen years after the big battle of Hogwarts, and reconnects fans to their favorite characters, no longer teenagers.
“A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical”: – July 8, 2025 – July 27, 2025
A must-see for every Neil Diamond fanatic (so… everyone).
“Some Like it Hot”: July 29, 2025 – Aug. 17, 2025
The Broadway show is a musical re-telling of the 1959 crime comedy.
“Shucked”: Aug. 19, 2025 – Sept. 7, 2025
“Shucked” was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including best musical, and Alex Newell won best performance by an actor for a musical. Set in the fictional rural town of Cob County whose livelihood revolves around… corn. But when the corn starts to rot, it’s up to one local to save the day.
