Kimberlin Brown: What We Know About the RNC’s Guest Actress

Soap opera actress Kimberlin Brown will take center stage at the Republican National Convention Tuesday night, appearing as the guest speaker for the night’s primetime slot. She will even be introduced by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s onetime opponent Ben Carson.

But, who is Brown? Variety explains:

  1. Brown played Sheila Carter first on “The Young and The Restless” and then on “The Bold and The Beautiful.” Carter was a “devious” character who “terrorized” the fictional Genoa City and was eventually killed off by her arch nemesis in the 1990s.

  2. She then appeared on “Port Charles” and “One Life to Live,” followed by a short-term role on “All My Children.”

  3. She currently hosts “Dramatic Designs” on The Design Network, where she walks viewers through her many projects, from conception to the final product.

  4. Brown is a “small business owner,” according to a GOP convention statement.

  5. Brown was born in Hayward, California.

  6. She has been married to Gary Pelzer since May 1991. They have two children, Alexes Marie and Nicholas.

  7. She has an avocado farm.

  8. From the look of her Instagram post, she seems to be pretty excited about tonight’s speech.
