There’s still a chance that Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann can avoid foreclosure on their 9500-square-foot mansion. It’s a slim chance, but that’s better than nothing. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta stars are in a race with their mortgager, Truist Bank. The bank is ready to move forward with foreclosure. Originally, they had a date set for November 7, 2023.

The exes filed a motion in court to get the foreclosure postponed. They argued that they were in the process of selling the home for $6 million, which would help them pay off their massive debts. Somehow, they won. Now, according to Radar Online, they filed another motion in court to try to get it postponed a second time.

A last-ditch effort to save the mansion

The house went up on the market for $6 million, and unfortunately, there aren’t that many people with that kind of money looking to buy that monstrosity of a house. Over the last few months, they’ve slashed the price of the mansion, bringing it down to $4.5 million. Still, no one’s biting, so the bank is ready to move forward with foreclosure.

According to the court docs, Truist Bank said they planned to initiate a “non-judicial foreclosure proceeding on or after May 3.” In response, Kim and Kroy argued that they needed even more time to sell their house. They claimed they were getting closer and closer to making a sale.

“The marital home, located [in] Alpharetta, Georgia, has been listed for sale, the property has been shown, and negotiations over the terms of sale have commenced with several prospective buyers,” the filing said.

It continued, “Petitioners also seek a temporary injunction prohibiting Respondent from initiating foreclosure proceedings until the matter is heard and decided.”

A judge still needs to rule on this, but if Kim and Kroy succeed in postponing their foreclosure a second time, they might just be the luckiest people in Georgia. In the meantime, if you know anyone with $4.5 million to spare, send them Kim’s way. There’s a 7-bedroom, 9-bathroom mansion up for grabs.
