Kim Yoo-Jung on Working With Song Kang for My Demon: ‘Developed a Comfortable Relationship’

My Demon is a much-awaited fantasy-romance series starring Kim Yoo-Jung and Song Kang. The K-drama will make its debut this Friday, November 24, 2023, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS. It will also be available on Netflix. The upcoming series revolves around a contract marriage between Kim Yoo-Jung’s Do Do-hee and Song Kang’s Jung Gu-Won, a demon.

On November 24, 2023, SBS organized a production presentation for My Demon, where all the lead cast members of the series were present. During the presentation, actress Kim Yoo-Jung opened up about her experience while working with co-actor Song Kang, as reported by Naver. She explained that the two have developed a warm and comfortable relationship.

During the November 24, 2023, production presentation for SBS’s My Demon, lead actress Kim Yoo-Jung talked about how she and Song Kang have come closer while filming for the series.

As per Naver, she said, “The preparation period was a little short, so we didn’t have much time to get closer. Isn’t there something awkward about everyone when we meet for the first time? We spent a little time filming together, analyzing the script, and talking. We got closer while doing it, and as we naturally developed a comfortable relationship, we started to get along well.”

The actress also added, “We had a lot of fun joking around. The director was also very playful, so the scene was full of laughter with pranks and pranks, so we had fun filming. Actor Song Kang is a very attractive actor. I also felt that his passion for acting was great while working with him. I was grateful that we could be together,”

Song Kang also shared his experience working opposite Kim Yoo-Jung in My Demon. He said, “She is such a great senior. She always guided me well. In the beginning, I had a lot of concerns about whether I could express the character of Guwon well. She approached me first, asked me, and solved it together.”

The actor further explained, “Breathing is something that came naturally. Other than that, I’m very thankful that we were able to create more interesting scenes by suggesting more ideas to each other during rehearsals,”
