The model and actress, who had three children with the music mogul, died at her home in Toluca Lake, Calif. According to reports, police do not suspect foul play — the 47-year-old had been battling an illness, either the flu or pneumonia (authorities are also looking into a recent trip she took to Africa) — so there will be an autopsy, which will include toxicology tests.

Diddy (real name: Sean Combs) — who has remained extremely close with Porter, co-parenting their children — was seen outside Porter’s home looking “distraught,” and her death has affected many outside her family as well. Rihanna, Jamie Foxx and 50 Cent are among the stars paying tribute — and sending love and support to Diddy:

Rihanna posted several family photos of Porter, whom she described as “beautiful inside and out.”

Foxx was “speechless” about the loss of the “living symbol of love and grace.”

50 Cent wrote that Porter was “loved and will be missed dearly” and said that Diddy “loved her for real, soul mate type s***.”

Teyana Taylor shared this video of Porter singing and looking so happy.

Kimora Lee Simmons, who was seen outside Porter’s home on Thursday, was clearly grieving, posting two words — “f*** this” — on a dark background in her Instagram Stories.

Missy Elliott was thinking of Porter’s four children, also including her 27-year-old son, actor and singer Quincy Brown, from her relationship with Al B. Sure.

Here were a few more:

Questlove was among many on Twitter who remembered that Jodeci hit “Forever My Lady” was dedicated to Porter. (Al B. Sure was a producer on the album.)

On Thursday, Diddy’s rep confirmed Porter’s death in a statement to Yahoo. While the rapper turned businessman hasn’t spoken out yet, a source told People magazine, “Diddy is devastated and shocked. He and Kim were still very close friends and co-parents even though their romantic relationship didn’t work … they were still a family.”

According to TMZ, Porter had been dealing with an illness and over the past few days had been treated with saline and vitamins. The day before she died, she contacted her doctor complaining she wasn’t feeling any better. She went to bed early on Wednesday night and when someone went to wake her up on Thursday, she did not respond. Paramedics pronounced her dead at her home.
