Kim Kardashian Discusses Justice Reform Ahead Of 'Justice Project' Trailer
Since Kim and the family took Hollywood by storm in 2007, they have managed to get themselves into almost every corner of the entertainment field. However, this hasn’t proved to anyone that they, especially Kim, are worthy of all the attention they receive. However, Kim announced a few years back that she is working on getting a degree in law. Furthermore, she plans on taking the bar and eventually hopes to practice law. As she gets older and grows her family is seems like Kim is looking for a new path. Possibly to regulate her children’s upbringing.
The mom of 4 is finally putting her money where her mouth is. After years of working to help free wrongfully convicted criminals on the hush hush, Kim is starting to speak out. She has announced that a docuseries about her work in law will air on Oxygen the capital of crime TV shows. The show is called “Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project”. It is focused on inmates who believe they were wrongfully convicted. Kim and the team she works with look into inmates cases and see if there is any way that they can help them.
Kim blatantly states in the trailer for the new show, that there is a “mass incarceration problem in the states”. It looks like at least one episode or part of an episode will focus on Kim’s work getting Alice Johnson out of prison. The trailer also touches just a tiny bit on why Kim is now using her celebrity status to help people who feel like they are wrongfully convicted. “I started getting letters” said Kim. She continues. “I went into this knowing nothing and then my heart completely opened up”.
Even the inmates are praising Kim for her kindness. “You believe in us” say’s one inmate. Kim doesn’t only focus on the inmates while in prison, she has also made it a point to focus on them after their release. Many inmates make a lot of bad decisions when they leave prison says Kim, so she wants to also make sure they have the resources. Kim’s image has changed drastically over the years and while many people still treat her and the rest of the family as irrelevant, she is focused on doing what she believes she has been put on this earth to do.
