Kim Kardashian West Shows Off the Contents of Her Closet and It's Mindblowing

Kim Kardashian has established herself not only as a reality television star, but also as an entrepreneur for a number of businesses including KKW Beauty, which features her contour products, her newly launched KKW Fragrance, and Skims, a shapewear line, which makes bodies look more fit.

As a result of those successful business ventures, it's no surprise that Kardashian has raked in quite a little bit of cash. Add in her compensation from starring on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, along with her husband, Kanye West's net worth, and it's safe to say that there's no shortage of money around the Kardashian-West household.

While Kim doesn't show off her flashy and luxurious lifestyle quite as much as she used to, the business owner does from time to time, offering fans an inside look at what her life is really like. Just recently, she posted a picture to her Instagram account of one of her closets, and it's contents are essentially worth more than one million dollars.

Becoming a Successful Business Owner, Monitoring Spending

Despite having a bank account that is reported to be in the nine-digit range and overall net worth of $370 million, Kardashian West has become very business savvy and frugal when it comes to spending money. And while that is all relative to the common person, the KUWTK star really watches her spending habits now that she's gotten older.

She even has a damage control plan should she overspend on a purchase. If she does spend more than anticipated, she'll make up for it by taking on another sponsored post to mitigate the financial loss from making the purchase. Speaking at the New York Times DealBook Conference, she shared, "If I overspend on something, and a paid post happens to come in at that time, I’ll weigh it out and think, ‘OK, well I have to pay for x, y, and z.

The exact amount of compensation per post has never been disclosed by Kardashian West, although she has claimed to have turned down offers worth at least one million dollars.

A Closet with Possessions Adding Up to Over $1 Million Dollars

From her business-first attitude and her highly successful lines of makeup and clothing, it's no surprise that she's been able to bank loads of money and make some luxurious, yet timeless, purchases within her life. Some of her priceless possessions were showcased in an Instagram post where she posed in front of one of her closets.

In the picture, expensive handbags and shoes abound within the background. To the trained eye, it's easy to notice a large number of Birkin handbags, totaling at least twenty-five, and that's only the count that can be seen within the frame of the photo. Birkin bags are some of the most coveted in all the world, ranging in price from $40,000 to $500,000 each. A ridiculous amount, making the total cost of her collection at least one million dollars, and that's just using the lower end of those cost estimations.

Also present in the photo are Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags, in addition to, a large assortment of high-end footwear. Truly an embarrassment of riches.

Changing Habits Following 2016 Paris Hotel Robbery

Although this photo that Kardashian West posted was a rare treat for her fans, she doesn't post much about her luxurious lifestyle anymore, stemming from the robbery that she experienced in Paris in 2016. Kardashian West was in 'The City of Lights' for Paris' Fashion Week and was robbed as she returned back to her hotel. Five men dressed as police officers broke into her hotel room after threatening the concierge, ultimately tying her wrists and ankles together and duck taping her mouth closed.

The thieves stole jewelry from her that was estimated to be worth over 10 million dollars, including her four million dollar wedding ring along with "two diamond Cartier bracelets, a gold and diamond Jacob necklace, Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings, a gold Rolex, and a few others items".

The Paris hotel robbery, paired with her feeling as though she was going to be killed during the incident, taught Kardashian West a valuable lesson. She no longer wanted to advertise some of her most expensive possessions out of fear that other people would try to rob her, or even something worse. If the reality television star does post a picture of something expensive, she does not do so in real-time, but instead, days later.

Maintaining a Professional Image for Her Children and Businesses

Since the incident, Kardashian West has been more about sharing pictures of friends and family on Instagram and other social media platforms and less about the vanity associated with her luxurious life.

It's also worth noting that she's now the mother of four children and a successful business owner, which requires her to maintain a positive and humble image, not only has a role model for her children but also to add to the professionalism that she must uphold for her various designer lines.
