Kim Kardashian-West is Paying a lot of Money for Kanye West's Mental Health

Kanye West is no stranger to mental illness. He suffers from Bipolar Disorder and revealed to the public in 2016 that he is Bipolar. Although he is struggling with the mental illness, when he revealed that he was mentally ill, he said, "Best believe I'm going to take the stigma off of the word crazy."

Kanye West does not take medication for the disorder. According to wife and reality TV star, Kim Kardashian-West, he doesn't take it because it changes who he is. Because of this and because of the fact that he doesn't know how to act in public and especially acts out at his own shows, Kardashian has put out a lot of money to help him cope with the mental illness better and live a better life even with it.

West has a lot of fans. He is a well-known American rapper with a lot of people who enjoy listening to his music and like him. He has family and friends too. However, there have been complaints that Kardashian has heard from his fans about some of the things he says and does during his shows, because of the disorder.

Since he can't take medication because of it changing who he is, Kardashian and West had to come up with another way to help him cope with the mental health disorder. Kardashian came up with a plan to help her husband to be able to deal with the illness in a better way.

One thing they found is that they need to understand and deal with things that trigger him to have a manic episode from the Bipolar. The main thing that triggers his manic attacks is travel. The problem with this, though is that with him being an artist and needing to go to different places to put on his shows, he can't stop traveling at all. Not even a little bit.

So, Kardashian came up with a plan to hire a team of psychiatrists to be ready around the clock when West starts having a breakdown or manic episode. The team will also help him with the prevention of these manic attacks so he can put on a show the best way he knows how to entertain his fans.

Kardashian dished out a lot of money for this team of psychiatrists to be there for West while traveling.

Not only has Kardashian made it known to the public that she hired some serious help for her husband and the fact that she paid a lot of money for this around-the-clock professional help, but the famous wife of West has also spoken publicly about how frustrated she is when his fans suggest to her that she is responsible for him and his actions in pubic. Kardashian also wants their fans to realize that she is not responsible for her husband or his actions just because she is married to him. After all, Kardashian says Kanye is an adult and can make his own decisions.

At least West has a good attitude about dealing with a mental illness like this. He says about Bipolar, "I hate being Bipolar. It's awesome!" He also had this to say about how he deals with it, "It's not a disability, It's a superpower."

His fans knew something was up with him because of the statements he has made and the way he has been acting in public. In fact, several of the statements he has made have been high-profile and have put both him and his mental health status in the public eye.

One of the most famous of the weird things he has done was when he took the microphone off of Taylor Swift. Not only did this act lose him much of the respect his fans had for him but many people around the world have criticized him for acting this way, especially in public.

He also said one time to the public that slavery was a "choice" and that didn't sit too well with anyone. Another thing that he did that didn't go over too well, not just with his fans who don't like Donald Trump but his friends who don't like him, was when he met with Trump. This last political act of his not only cost him some of his fans but even some of his close friends, including Elton John. He and John have been friends for years but John doesn't like the fact that he supports Trump and his actions. However, he thinks the only reason Kanye supports and likes Trump is not because of his ways but because Trump has a larger-than-life personality. This personality is one that West knows all about.
