The annual ceremony for prestigious award, held this year on Saturday night at Los Angeles’s Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, brings together some of the biggest stars and innovative thinkers to celebrate scientists who are changing the world. But that’s not all: It also doubles as a showcase of fabulous red-carpet looks—including this year’s from Kim Kardashian, which just about changed our world.

The Skims founder made her grand entrance looking like a vixen in a hot all-white look. Her ensemble consisted of a sultry gown that featured a figure-hugging construction, floor-length design, criss-cross halter neckline, a center leg slit in the back, and daring cutouts at the center of her chest and up each side of her torso, all in icy-white, crocodile-embossed leather. Kardashian paired the dress with white-and-clear platform heels and eschewed jewelry altogether. She kept her beauty just as alluring, styling her black tresses in a slightly-wavy wet-hair look with her bangs sweeping down across her face, and glamming up with a dark smoky eye, fluttery eyelashes, sharp black winged eyeliner, a glossy burnt-red lip, and long deep-brown nails.

Kardashian brought her mom, Kris Jenner, as her date to the ceremony, who contrasted her in a monochromatic black look. The momager looked funeral chic in a transparent mock neck top that revealed her black bra and featured a triangle cutout along her chest, tucked into a sweeping pencil skirt that featured a wide satin cummerbund detail. She added a tailored blazer that featured dramatic wide lapels, a wide pleated peplum detail, and fanciful cuffs. Jenner completed her look with diamond-adorned black square earrings, styled her voluminous pixie cut with some texture, and glammed up with dark eye makeup, glowy bronzer, and a nude lip.

Kardashians bright white look serves as a stark contrast to the all-black Matrix-esque ‘fit she wore to a L.A. Lakers game with her North West, 10, earlier this week. Then, she matched with her daughter in an all-black look, hers composed of a long belted leather trench coat, Balenciaga knife pantaleggings, and the brand’s silver mirror hourglass handbag.
