Kim Kardashian Reveals Traumatic Aftermath of Paris Robbery

On Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian was processing her recent traumatic experience: being robbed at gunpoint while visiting Paris. Social media only seemed to be making things more difficult for her as people were making a lot of ugly comments, even saying they wished she had died that night.

Kim also found herself being preyed upon in other ways, with footage of her speaking to the police —caught on the hotel’s security camera — was leaked. She had to chase down people in Paris to get the footage taken down. Her nerves were rattled, and things took turn for the worse when Kanye West accidentally frightened Kim by coming home late after a concert. Hearing his footsteps coming up the stairs at 3 o’clock in the morning brought up memories of the robbery.

Ultimately, Kim decided to seek help from a therapist, and her family — wanting to show her how much they love and care about her — threw her an unexpected birthday celebration, which she really appreciated because it helped her feel more secure.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs Sundays on E at 9 p.m.
