Kim Kardashian reveals Kanye West's new album 'still needs tweaks'
It was meant to drop Friday according to the man himself, but fans are still waiting on tenterhooks for Kanye West’s new album. Now Kim Kardashian West has hinted at the reason behind the delay.
During a concert the rapper gave at the Fox Theatre in Detroit on Friday, the singer’s wife posted a live Instagram Story. Not only did she show the crowd thoroughly enjoying the sneak peak at her other half’s new music, she also revealed West’s plans about when the promised album, Jesus is King, would be released and what the hold up had been.

She wrote, “Kanye’s doing a listening session in Chicago tomorrow, then NYC Sunday.” Finishing with the big news, “He’s dropping the album Sunday. Just a new final tweaks to the mixes.”
The Detroit event, entitled “Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience” was unsurprisingly sold out. On the night, West also performed a new tune, Follow God, which Kardashian West said was to be the second song from the new album.
This conflicts with the original tracklist the rapper posted on his website. But considering there is a second slip of paper in the corner of his photo featuring a slightly different list of names, this confirms the suggestions that some parts of the new album may still be in flux.
West originally announced on his website, that the new music would be released on September 27. The delay has prompted some fans to take to social media begging for news. XXL Magazine even posted a comedy video to Twitter demanding answers.

The music is on its way though. West has been performing a number of sneak peak performances around the country. Last Sunday he held one of his Sunday services in Wyoming, followed by another one this Sunday at Detroit's Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre.

Kim Kardashian posted footage from the second event, where the couple’s daughter, North West, sang and danced with the congregation, and their son, Saint, watched on in wonder.
