Kim Kardashian Spotted Wearing Her Small Wedding Band amid Divorce Preparations from Kanye West

Kim Kardashian slipped on some SKIMS and shot a few sexy snaps for her return to Instagram Monday as her possible divorce from husband Kanye West looms.
After laying relatively low on social media for the past week as news broke of her potential impending split from her rapper husband, Kardashian, 40, shared new photos on her Instagram feed to promote the launch of SKIMS' latest hosiery collection. In one photo, the mogul lounged on her closet floor modeling a black hosiery bralette and semi-sheer tights as she gave a sultry stare to the camera.
In another pic, she sat cross-legged, wearing a different nude shade of the same SKIMS undergarments, and held her bare left hand up to her face without her wedding band on.

However, when Kardashian hopped on her Instagram Story to share details about the new SKIMS collection, she appeared to be wearing a simple diamond band on one hand (though it is unclear whether or not it is her ring from West).

Just hours before sources confirmed the news of her divorce preparations to PEOPLE last week, Kardashian kept her rings off when she posed on the floor of her closet to model new her SKIMS Body Basics line. The photo has since been deleted from her Instagram feed, but stills remains on the SKIMS account.

It isn't uncommon for Kardashian to leave her ring finger bare in SKIMS' campaigns and promotional photos. When the star launched a collection of cozy Kids loungewear and modeled with daughter North West, 7, she also went without the jewelry. She did the same in August when she promoted the SKIMS Stretch Rib line.
One day before news broke that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is readying for a split from West, 43, Kardashian was photographed visiting maternal grandmother, Mary Jo "MJ" Shannon and wearing her small wedding band on her ring finger.

Multiple sources have told PEOPLE that a breakup is on the horizon for Kardashian and West, who have been married for nearly seven years.

"He knows that she's done. She has had enough, and she told him that she wants some space to figure out her future," a source told PEOPLE, adding that West is bracing for a filing but doesn't know when it will take place.
"He's okay. He's sad, but okay. He knows the inevitable will happen, and he knows that it's coming soon," the source added.
Kardashian has been leaning on her tight-knit family circle for support as she navigates the tumultuous time. "December was a rough month for Kim. She has been living separately from Kanye. Over the holidays, it was hard for her to stay positive," a source told PEOPLE last week. "She has been trying her best, though, for the kids. She stayed in Los Angeles for New Year's [Eve]. Kourtney and Khloé [Kardashian] were around to support her. She is very grateful to have her sisters to lean on."
Kardashian and West began dating in 2012 before they wed in May 2014 at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. The couple share daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 2, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, who turns 2 in May.
