Was Kim Kardashian Poking Fun at Kendall Jenner in This “AHS: Delicate” Scene? Fans Certainly Think So

With Kim Kardashian on American Horror Story: Delicate, things seem to be getting a little cheeky. Fans of the show, as well as fans of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, seemed to get a kick out of one particular scene from the latest episode, in which Kardashian appears to poke fun at half sister Kendall Jenner.

In the episode, Kardashian — who plays a publicist named Siobhan — goes to comfort her client, Anna (played by Emma Roberts). In an effort to take care of her after a miscarriage, Siobhan starts slicing up some cucumbers.

The camera zooms in, and shockingly, Kardashian has excellent knife skills.

“This is orgasmic,” Anna tells Siobhan, to which Siobhan credits “the Green Goddess dressing that went viral on TikTok.”

Many think this is a playful nod to her sister Kendall Jenner, because she went viral last year for awkwardly chopping cucumbers on The Kardashians.

In the Jenner joked: "I'm definitely not a good cutter, so don't zoom in on me. I'm not professional whatsoever."

The scene garnered quite a bit of attention and became a meme. Jenner leaned into it, ultimately dressing as a cucumber slice for Halloween. But after the AHS episode aired, viewers have started taking to social media to ponder if Kardashian was behind the joke.

“Last week we got the Marilyn’s dress reference and this week we got the Kendall’s cucumber reference. I know Kim is behind all of these lmao #ahsdelicate,” reads a tweet from X user @horanghyu.

“Marilyn's dress” refers to a scene in which Anna firmly tells Sioban not to rip a dress she’s zipping up for her. Many think this poked fun at Kardashian's controversial decision last year to wear Marilyn Monroe’s dress, which she ultimately ripped.

X user @bklynreds tweeted similar sentiments, saying: “Kim Kardashian cutting a cucumber in the latest episode of AHS is kind of amazing."

Many have been satisfied with Kardashian’s role on AHS, commending her performance as “perfect.” Her character’s first line, “Then tell the Daniels to such my c---!” was a satisfactory introduction to her character, and her presence on the show, in general.

Deadline critic Anthony D'Alessandro wrote that she is “channeling her mom-anager Kris Jenner,” while USA Today’s Patrick Ryan expressed that Kardashian “cleverly leans into that Valley girl persona" for the “campy” role.
