Kim Kardashian West is asking her 65.3M Twitter followers and 173M Instagram followers to help find one young protestor who was shot by a rubber bullet while protesting the death of George Floyd.

“This is heartbreaking and so disturbing. Does anyone know how I can get in contact with her?” Kim captioned the photo. “I would love to help her with her medical care if she needs it.”

In an attempt to help locate the protestor many people on Twitter have shared the account of @shannynsharyse who posted the same photo as the reality star with another photo from the hospital.

“I was protesting tonight. I recorded everything when I got hit with a rubber bullet. This is the result.” The young protestor also reposted Kim’s Tweet and shared that she’s from Louisville, Kentucky, and 23 years old — not a high school girl protesting in Minneapolis as Kim’s photo read.

It is unclear if Kim has been in touch with the protestor.

Following the police killing of George Floyd, stars have used their platforms calling for change. George Clooney penned an essay for The Daily Beast discussing the systemic oppression of and violence towards the Black community through the lens of Floyd’s death.

“Now we see another defiant reaction to the systemic cruel treatment of a portion of our citizens like we saw in 1968, 1992, and 2014,” Clooney writes. “We don’t know when these protests will subside. We hope and pray that no one else will be killed. But we also know that very little will change.”
