Kim Kardashian isn't quite ready to get back on the dating scene — but when the time comes, she knows exactly what she wants.

On Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians, the 42-year-old reality star opened up about dating again and what that will entail when she finds the right person. As fans may remember, Kim's last relationship with Pete Davidson ended in August 2022. She and the comedian — who was 13 years her junior — dated for nine months before calling it quits.

While chatting with her friends in London before attending an Arsenal F.C. game with their sons on Thursday's episode, Kim addressed their claim that "cute guys" that might show up to the sporting event.

"Why are you all looking at me? I have age limits, guys," she insisted. "I need just a little more age appropriate. I need [someone in their] 40's."

In a confessional, Kim spoke about how her friends desperately wanted to set her up with someone and why she doesn't feel the need to date right now.

"When you're single and all your friends are married, it's like you have desperation on your face and everyone under the sun wants to hook you up with someone," she said. "I'm genuinely just okay with being by myself for a minute and the right situation will come my way."

Kim had several relationships before dating Pete, including her three-year romance with former NFL star Reggie Bush, 38, and her respective marriages to music producer Damon Thomas, 52, and NBA player Kris Humphries, 38.

She also endured a messy divorce battle with ex-husband Kanye West, from who she filed for divorce from in February 2021 after six years of marriage. The former pair — who share children North, 10, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4 — finalized their divorce in November 2022.

Following her split from 46-year-old rapper, Kim began dating Pete, 29, in fall 2021 after her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live. As Kim and Pete's relationship flourished, Kanye hurled several attacks at the couple both online and in the press, including in a video for his single "Eazy," in which the rapper kidnapped, tied up and buried a claymation version of Pete.

The pair split in August 2022 after nine months of dating. On season 3 premiere of The Kardashians, Kim admitted she felt "a lot of guilt" after their split since Pete "went through a lot because of my relationship [with Kanye]."

Most recently, a source told PEOPLE that Kim was "hanging out" with NFL player Odell Beckham Jr., 30.

Despite the many ups and downs of her dating life, Kim said during a May 2023 appearance on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast that she was hopeful that she would find love again some day.

"I think I'll always be a hopeless romantic and always want to be in love and definitely love sharing my life with someone, and love creating a life with someone," she said. "I definitely will take my time. And I think there's so many factors, especially when you have kids and being mindful of people that enter in your life."

She also made similar comments about finding love again in a season 3 episode of The Kardashians.

"I go back and forth in my feelings sometimes, like, who's ever gonna wanna date me?" she said in a confessional. "I have four kids, I'm in my 40s ... like, who's gonna wanna deal with the drams? But my person is gonna be like, 'F--- all that. It's gonna be hard, but we're together and we're gonna do this.' So I'm just waiting for that person."
