Kim Kardashian, Kanye West give daughter North Michael Jackson's jacket for Christmas
Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West gave eldest daughter North quite the Christmas present this year: one of Michael Jackson's jackets.
Kardashian West revealed the gift on her Instagram story on Dec. 24. In the post, she explains Jackson once wore the jacket when he was with Elizabeth Taylor; the story included multiple photos of Jackson with Taylor.
"North is a really big Michael Jackson fan, and we knew she would love this," Kardashian West explains. She says she and her husband won the jacket through an auction.
They had the sleeves adjusted so North, 6, can wear it now, and the sleeves can be let down as she grows so she can have it for her whole life.
"She is so grateful and so excited," Kardashian West said.

The gift was viewed as controversial by many on social media. Some called the gift too extravagant for a young child, while other Jackson supporters called it a clear sign of West and Kardashian's support of the tainted superstar.
In March, the four-hour documentary "Leaving Neverland" aired on HBO with Wade Robson and James Safechuck detailing their stories of Jackson allegedly sexually abusing them at ages 7 and 10, respectively, when they were in the singer's inner circle at the height of his fame.

Prior to his death, Jackson had repeatedly denied any wrongdoing. He was acquitted in a child sex abuse case leveled against him in California in 2005.
North West wasn't the only Kardashian whose Christmas gift made it to social media.
Kris Jenner decided to go extra big this Christmas and surprise her granddaughter, Stormi, Kylie's daughter, with a huge playhouse. Stormi, 1, also got a surprise visit from Poppy, a pink-haired troll from the 2016 animated film. And the whole cute encounter was set up by her dad, rapper Travis Scott.
