Kim Kardashian just apologised to Khloé and Kourtney over outfit criticism

Kim Kardashian just publicly apologised to sisters Kourtney and Khloé for criticising their style back in 2018. In her latest Instagram post, Kim wears a fluffy pink coat layered over a grey tracksuit set with trainers and white sunglasses. Kim, who is currently in Japan, captioned the OOTD post: "Sanrio Style 🎀💞🌸". In the snaps, she wears a baby pink-inspired 'fit, consisting of a statement pink fluffy coat layered over a tracksuit set. As you scroll through, you can also see a close-up of her cute Hello Kitty-themed manicure. So far, so good, right?

But it wasn't long until fans noticed a resemblance between Kim's newest outfit and something her sisters wore while on a trip to Japan back in 2018 (because the internet never forgets, amiright?). At the time, in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim took both KoKo and Kourt aside to tell them that their Japan style wasn't up to scratch.

"So I gotta be real with you guys. You look like f***ing clowns," Kim said in the resurfaced clip. "I'm not f***ing kidding."

Kourtney disagreed with her sister in the footage, responding, "I thought my hair looked good last night and I thought my outfit was fun for Japan." The oldest Kardashian sister went on to liken Kim's 2018 bike short aesthetic to a cyclist - sisters, huh?

As though that wasn't enough, there are also pics of Kourtney wearing possibly the same pink coat while on the throwback trip.

Kourtney was quick to comment on Kim's latest Instagram post, writing, "a long way from the cycling outfits 💞💞💞 @kimkardashian @khloekardashian 😹😹"

Meanwhile, Khloé added, "I’m waiting……" (presumably for an apology).

One fan took to Twitter to share side-by-side pictures of Khloé's fluffy pink coat and Kim's with the words: "well well well @KimKardashian apologize now!!"

When you scroll through Kim's new post, you can see she includes a screenshot of the above Tweet, along with the side-by-side of her repping a similar jacket to her sister. Basically, Kim's owning up to the full-circle moment and, on Stories, she shared a pic of Kourt's fluffy pink version with the comment, "People grow and evolve ok??? LOL I'M SORRY".

So there you have it, trends may change, but at least Kim's fessing up to the funny situation.
