Kim Kardashian Jets Off to Paris Fashion Week for 12 Hours as Her Family Questions Her Sanity: Don’t Be ‘Judgmental’

"Do you want me to be doing drugs?" Kim asked cameras while admitting that working is her "vice"

Kim Kardashian has no regrets about her whirlwind trip to Paris for Fashion Week.

On the season 5 premiere of The Kardashians, filmed in fall 2023, the SKIMS founder, 43, is preparing for a 12-hour trip to Paris Fashion Week, an excursion that her family thinks she's wild for going on.

In a scene on the May 23 episode, the mom of four outlined her travel plans while on her private plane on the way to Paris with Kris Jenner and Kris' boyfriend, Corey Gamble.

"So, I go to New York, six hours, to Paris for 15 hours, to Atlantic City, to Milan. My plane's gonna go home, pick up my kids...So, I'm actually gonna have them drop me off in Milan. Then I have to go to Washington D.C," Kim told them, holding a glass of Champagne before a toast.

Kris, 68, called out the amount of places Kim was going in less than a week, while Gamble, 43, called for "safety, good energy and a positive mind" on the journey.

Reflecting on her sister's plans in a confessional interview on the episode, Kendall Jenner, who was in Paris to walk in the Victoria Beckham fashion show, said: "God bless her soul. I have so much respect for the level of 'give a f----' that she has...flying around to all these places and more power to her, for sure. But I just could never. It's so much."

In her own confessional, the American Horror Story: Delicate star asked, "Why is everyone so concerned that I work a lot? Everyone just has a different idea of what success is and looks like to them. I think you just should be non-judgmental of what that is. It could look like anything."

But Kendall, 28, told the cameras she was just concerned for Kim. "I worry about her, I really do," the model said. "I think about her often in the sense of I want her to take a break."

But Kim was unbothered by her schedule. She called work her "vice" in a confessional, and added: "Do you want me to be doing drugs? If I'm addicted to working and being busy, I don't think that's the worst thing," though her tone at the end of the statement was a question.

The mogul doesn't appear to have slowed down any since the episode was filmed, but she does make sure to spend quality time with her kids amidst attending high-profile events, like the 2024 Met Gala.

On Saturday, May 11, she posted footage from her youngest son Psalm's 5th birthday party, whose actual birthday was May 9.

"Psalm’s Ghostbusters party, how cute is this?” she said in a video while showing off ghostly decor.

Kim is also mom to daughters North, 10, and Chicago, 6, and son Saint, 8, with her ex-husband, Kanye West.
