Kim Kardashian's Elf on the Shelf game is heating up.

The mom of four took to Instagram to show off her latest elf-scape, which involved filling the massive tub in her bathroom with "hot chocolate."

"I walked into my bathroom and what do I see here? The elves left a mess and made Charlie and the Chocolate Factory over here," she narrated in a video panning over the saccharine scene inside her Hidden Hills mansion. "The note in the kitchen said they couldn't find the mugs, so the hot chocolate is in the bathtub."

The elaborate set-up included a mess of marshmallows in different sizes, red and green decorations, chocolate kisses spelling out the word "ELF," and of course the bathtub itself, filled with brown liquid to simulate cocoa. Kardashian even turned on the faucet to show it was real.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan are known for creating highly decorative Elf on the Shelf scenes for their kids. Khloe Kardashian recently shared via her Snapchat Story, that "It's definitely a lot of work coming up with ideas and setting up the elves each night but seeing True's face light up every morning makes it all so worth it."

Khloe's elf population also increased this Christmas, she shared. "True wanted to have two elves this year. One for her and one for Tatum. Hers has earrings and Tatum's doesn't," she said, showing off the pair of elves.

Earlier this year, Kourtney Kardashian Barker kicked off her own "elf season" with a sledding scene. Her elves were stuck to silver foil plates to represent their sleds, while the display was covered in cotton balls to depict snow. “Elf Sledding Now Open,” the top of the display read.

Meanwhile, mom Kris Jenner revealed she’d also been busy with some elves and showed off 13 personalized Elf on the Shelf dolls for her 13 grandchildren — including Kardashian Barker’s newborn son Rocky

Kim's chocolate tub is likely the messiest scene any of the family members have attempted so far. It's not clear if she used actual cocoa powder or another method to dye the water, but the inclusion of the marshmallows is sure to make clean up a sticky situation.

The SKIMS founder's massive and stark bathroom previously became cause for controversy after she gave a tour of the space in a Vogue “73 Questions’ video. Her bathroom sink, which has no visible basin, left fans baffled.

She finally revealed the mysteries of her sink, which was created by her then-husband Kanye West, the couple’s interior designer Axel Vervoordt and architect Claudio Silvestrin, in a follow-up Instagram Story.

Kim explained that they created eight prototypes for the sink before settling on this one, then demonstrated how it works. Because there is no basin, it looks as if water would flow onto the ground or stay on the countertop, but she showed that the surface of the counter has a slight slope, so that the water hits the surface and flows down into a slot at the edge that serves as a drain.

“You can put it on as high pressure as you want and no backsplash will come up,” she explains.

Kardashian and West reportedly purchased the home for $20 million in 2014, but Kardashian's mom, Kris Jenner, tweeted in April 2018 that the house was then worth $60 million. During their divorce Kardashian bought the house and all of its belongings from West for $23 million. She has continued to live there with their four children, NorthSaintChicago and Psalm.
