Kim Kardashian announced on Saturday that she is launching her new fragrance, a collaboration with sister Kylie Jenner, on August 23 ... which just so happens to be the same day Taylor Swift is dropping her new album.
Swift is releasing her seventh studio album, "Lover," later this month and now she will go head-to-head with her on-again/off-again enemy.
Twitter, of course, reacted to this news, and many of Swift's fans believe Kim's announcement is anything but a coincidence given the two stars' history with each other.
“Y’all see that Kim & Kylie are dropping their perfume on August 23rd… the same day Lover is released… I cannot,” @salutetotay13 tweeted.
While @visagedegateau wrote, “Oh so now the kim and kylie perfume is coming the same day as Lover? This [isn’t] a coincidence anymore.”
Kim and Kylie were originally supposed to drop the fragrance in April — on the same day Swift was releasing her new song — but they were forced to delay the launch because of manufacturing issues.
"Sadly, we found out today from the manufacturer that a few of our bottles did not pass durability tests while on the assembly line and we have paused production while the team explores the issue further," Kim wrote on Twitter.
Kim first went after Swift in 2016, releasing a series of Snapchat videos calling out Swift for lying about whether or not she knew Kanye West was going to namedrop her on his song “Famous.”
Taylor has called out Kim for bullying her on multiple occasions since the incident.
