Family Drama
Each of the Kardashian/Jenner sisters has their own drama going on, but the drama between Khloe Kardashian and her ex Tristan Thompson dominated 2019. The couple broke up after Thompson hooked up with longtime family friend Jordyn Woods, and while he has made several attempts to get Khloe back, Khloe is dedicated to being exes who co-parent.
Although the family still keeps Woods on the outs, Thompson seems to be making his way back in and was seen at the lavish Kardashian family Christmas bash.
Was Kim Booing Tristan?
Kim and Kanye attended the Cavaliers vs. Lakers game on Tuesday, and Kim was seen making some noise on the sidelines. Despite the smile on her face, people assumed that she was booing Thompson, who plays for the Cavs. When it began to circulate on Twitter that Kim was allegedly booing Thompson, she tweeted out that that wasn't the case at all.
"I was there to support him! And was cheering screaming LETS GO TRISTAN!!!!! I would never go boo anyone. I don’t go to hate, only to cheer!"
Khloe Has Forgiven Tristan
It seems like the family has largely forgiven Thompson for his treatment of Khloe, and Khloe herself has come out and said that she has forgiven Thompson and Woods.
"I don’t hold any negative or hateful feelings towards ANYONE! I mean that. Life is short! We are all humans trying to figure out this thing called life. Who am I to condemn anyone else? Yes, I’m allowed to feel hurt and pain. It would be unnatural for me to pretend as if I don’t. Personally, I don’t want to be carrying around a hateful heart. I crave peace in my life. Me holding onto hate is only going to hurt me in the end.
Forgiveness is a strength and not a weakness. I am allowed to forgive people but still not accept their behaviors. I’m also allowed to protect my space. I am allowed to choose who I want in my life and who I do not. I’m also allowed to wish people well and sincerely mean it. Doesn’t mean I have to be their best friend. I want nothing but beautiful blessings for EVERYBODY that has ever been in my life. Regardless of what they have done or not done to me."
Trying Their Best For True
Still Khloe admits that it can be difficult to co-parent with Thompson, but that she makes an effort to be an example for her daughter. While she was a guest on Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast, she explained that it was "not easy."
"Oh, it's hard. It's not easy for me. You know, it would be easier for me to keep my daughter away... but he never hurt True. Him and I have our own relationship and then Tristan and True have theirs, and I will never come in between that. I don't believe in that.
I want to show my daughter it's OK and it's a beautiful thing to also forgive her dad. He's a great person. Maybe him and I weren't compatible in that way, but that's OK. I always want True to be surrounded by love and I know babies feel energy, we feel energy and I just want her to always feel bliss as much as I can."
