Kim Kardashian Criticizes ICE Raid On Social Media Instead Of Picking Up the Phone

Kim Kardashian has the resources to influence the release of persons from prison and also immigration change, like a direct line to President Donald Trump, but instead she just decided to complain online ... and then hawk her cosmetics line.

The "KUWTK" star re-posted a viral video to her Instagram page featuring 11-year-old Magdalena Gomez Gregorio crying after her father was taken during an ICE raid in Mississippi.

Kardashian wrote,

“This really breaks my heart. I think about my own babies and how they would feel if their parents never came back to pick them up from school. The anxiety and fear these kids must feel really breaks my soul.”

Many people on social media have been sharing the video of Gregorio to support their belief that ICE raids should be stopped.

The recent operation was the largest single state immigration raid in U.S. history.

Kardashian also reposted a quote:

“No matter your political beliefs if you are a parent imagine your children on their first day of school and no one coming to pick you up. Those people were at work. Trying to provide a better life for their children. For your heart to be broken at the lack of humanity is terrifying. The damage we as a country have done to these families is truly reprehensible. And lastly if you are not outraged and screaming from the rooftops unfollow me.”<

The complaints online from Kardashian are odd given the fact she has the power to call up President Trump, as she has done multiple times in the past.

Kardashian has visited the White House numerous times to promote criminal justice reform, as well as taking her grandmother for a visit.

She and husband Kanye West have touted their close relationship with the White House ... but have not yet appeared to speak to Trump on immigration.

After posting about Gregorio, Kardashian was back on her normal beat, and announced to fans that her KKW Beauty Liquid Concealers were "restocked!”

And, of course, she made sure to include a swipe-up to purchase the concealer.
