Kim Kardashian has done it again. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been pushing for the release of yet another prison inmate, with The Shade Room reporting the 39-year-old to have had some major success.

David Sheppard has been behind bars since 1992. A hearing yesterday afternoon saw the Delaware County District Attorney's office move to rescind Sheppard's warrant for a retail theft charge. Sheppard was, however, incarcerated for second-degree murder, although his near-30-year theft charge for stealing five pair of jeans remained.

Clemency has been granted, with Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signing the necessary paperwork to see Sheppard set free just in time for Christmas.

A 'Shameful Waste Of Resources,' Kim Says

The jeans theft? Most people would argue that the warrant is a touch ridiculous. Then again, the law is the law. As to Sheppard's more-serious charge, it involved a fatal robbery where he "was not the shooter," per Oxygen.

Kim took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the matter.

“This is sheer abuse of prosecutorial authority on the part of the district attorney’s office and a shameful waste of public resources," she tweeted.

Sheppard's story is set to feature on Kim's upcoming docu-series.

'He Should've Been Going Home Sooner'

Sheppard's attorney, Max Orenstein spoke to Oxygen, stating that he felt that his client should have been released much earlier.

“He should’ve been going home sooner, but I’m glad he’s going home now,” he said.

“I’m very relieved that he’ll hopefully be able to spend the holidays with his family and start moving forward with his life," Orenstein added.

Also speaking to the media outlet was Senior Deputy District Attorney Daniel McDevitt, stating that "this was never a custody case” or about keeping Sheppard in jail for a lengthier period.

Kim Has Helped Release 17 Inmates In 90 Days

It isn't all KKW Beauty lipsticks and SKIMS shapewear flogging for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star. Kim has reportedly aided the release of 17 first-time, non-violent drug offenders in 90 days. The star's personal attorney Brittany K. Barnett told CNN:

"(Kim) has provided financial support to cover legal fees so that we can travel the country. Our relationships with our clients don't end when they are freed. (Kim) is truly dedicated to the issue. I work personally with her, we are really grateful."

Nobody's forgotten Kim's global headline-making last year. 2018 saw the reality star and makeup mogul essentially march up to President Donald Trump to negotiate the release of formerly-incarcerated Alice Marie Johnson. The 64-year-old's time behind bars for a single drug offense came to an end following Kardashian's intervention. Her release was filmed on the family's hit E! show.

Alice Marie and Kim seem to have struck up quite the friendship, with Johnson featuring in promos for SKIMS this year.

All The Other Stuff Kim's Been Pushing For

Following her 2018 visit to the White House, Kim returned to Washington D.C. to make a speech alongside Trump, whereby she proudly announced a rideshare scheme that would aid ex-cons in finding jobs.

A mother of four, an international media and fashion icon, a wife, and Hollywood's biggest typecast "airhead," Kim Kardashian seems to be defying all odds. The star is now also studying for the "mini bar," has revealed that she's studying 18 hours per week to pursue her legal career.
