Kim Gordon to Release New Book No Icon

Kim Gordon is releasing a new book next week. It’s called No Icon and it arrives October 13 via Rizzoli. According to the listing, it’s a scrapbook featuring previously unseen photos, writings, and ephemera from throughout her career. The book is set to open with a foreword from Carrie Brownstein of Sleater-Kinney.

Last year, Gordon released her first-ever solo album, No Home Record. In 2015, she published the memoir Girl in a Band. Read Pitchfork’s 2015 interview with the Sonic Youth co-founder.
