Kim Cattrall Wows in Sequin Mini-Dress on Rare Public Outing with Russell Thomas

Cattrall and Thomas have been dating for seven years

Kim Cattrall is bringing the sparkle and shoulder pads!

The Glamorous actress, 67, dazzled in a sequin Balmain mini dress with statement shoulders at the Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards 2023 on Tuesday, where she stepped out alongside boyfriend Russell Thomas at Claridge's Hotel in London.

Cattrall paired the look with matching circular black and gold earrings, a black leather purse and black heels, while Thomas wore a sleek classic black suit with a matching black tie.

The pair’s appearance comes one month after the Sex and the City alum revealed on Instagram that she and her boyfriend of seven years went on a romantic getaway cruise along the Canal du Midi in Southern France.

“A wonderful week on the ultimate Canal du Midi cruise. Great friends. Great crew and exceptional food/wines from the region,” she captioned an image of the adventure, which showed Cattrall with her arm wrapped around Thomas.

The actress previously opened up about their relationship and how she met Thomas at the BBC in 2016 during an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in 2020.

"We kind of liked each other, we kept in touch and then he came out to Vancouver," Cattrall said at the time. "It was very brave of him because we didn't really know each other other than having a few meals together. But he came and we got along great, and we've been together ever since!"

Cattrall, who has been married three times, described her current relationship with Thomas as being "just so easy."

"I'm very comfortable around him. He's a firecracker and he's got a wicked sense of humor. And he's easy on the eyes!," the actress added.

Through learning to be vulnerable in her relationships, and putting in "good work," the actress explained on the New York Times' Modern Love podcast at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival that she has now developed a deep and "meaningful" relationship with Thomas.

"It's hard work. It's not easy. People feel that it's something that happens, and you're lucky. Luck is where preparation meets an opportunity," she shared, before adding that she is willing to put in the time to make the partnership flourish.

"You meet this person and the work is just begun but it's not a negative kind of work," Cattrall said. "This is good work. This is meaningful for your life. So, for me, I am less romantic about it or sensual about it. I feel that it is continuing to work and push and progress and ask and reveal for as long as you're alive."
