Kim Cattrall wants to 'work with good people,' shuts down 'Sex and the City 3' hopes

Kim Cattrall will never do a "Sex and the City 3," telling the Daily Mail she would rather "work with good people" than with Sarah Jessica Parker.

If you were still holding out hope for a "Sex and the City 3" with Kim Cattrall, you better give up now.

The actress, known for her role as the brash Samantha Jones in "Sex and the City," squashed any hopes of her return to the franchise in a Mail Online story published Sunday.

"Never. It's a no from me," the 62-year-old said.

Cattrall implied her decision was rooted in her feud with former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker.

"You learn lessons in life and my lesson is to do work with good people and try and make it fun," she said.

This is not the first time Cattrall has shaded her on-screen friend.

When Cattrall's brother died in 2018, Parker sent condolences. The "Sensitive Skin" star, however, followed up with an Instagram post that read "I don't need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker."

"My Mom asked me today 'When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?' " she wrote in the post's lengthy caption. "Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now."

Cattrall added she wanted to be "VERY clear" she wants nothing to do with the 54-year-old.

"You are not my family," she wrote. "You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona."

At the end of the caption, Cattrall linked a New York Post article about "the mean-girls culture that destroyed ‘Sex and the City.’ "

Cattrall has said before she wants nothing more to do with "Sex and the City," telling Piers Morgan in 2017 she had "never been friends" with any of her co-stars.

Parker said she did not feel the same way about Cattrall.

"(I'm) just heartbroken," she said on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" last year. "That whole week, you and I spoke about it endlessly, because I... found it very upsetting, because that's not the way I recall our experience."
