Kim Cattrall Sips on 'Exceptional Wine' with Boyfriend Russell Thomas During Romantic France Getaway

The ‘Sex and the City’ star has been in a relationship with Thomas since 2016

Kim Cattrall is in vacation bliss with boyfriend Russell Thomas!

In an Instagram post on Monday, the Sex and the City alum, 67, shared a sweet photo from her cruise along the Canal du Midi in Southern France with her boyfriend of seven years.

“A wonderful week on the ultimate Canal du Midi cruise. Great friends. Great crew and exceptional food/wines from the region,” she captioned the post.

The lovebirds were all smiles as they posed beside each other in the photo. Cattrall had her arm wrapped around her boyfriend and a glass of white wine is pictured in front of her.

During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in 2020, the actress opened up about her relationship with Thomas, including the story of how she first met her boyfriend when he was working at the BBC in 2016.

"We kind of liked each other, we kept in touch and then he came out to Vancouver," Cattrall said at the time. "It was very brave of him because we didn't really know each other other than having a few meals together. But he came and we got along great, and we've been together ever since!"

She also revealed they share a connection through their British roots as Cattrall was born in Liverpool, England and Thomas was born in Kent.

"It's just so easy," the How I Met Your Father actress added. "I'm very comfortable around him. He's a firecracker and he's got a wicked sense of humor. And he's easy on the eyes!"

Cattrall, who has been married three times before, revealed that Thomas was “worth waiting for” and that the pair have even formed a “very British” morning routine together.

"The day starts with a cup of tea," she explained. "It's hot water over a tea bag, with milk, no sugar and exactly the right temperature. It's very British! We have tea together every morning, and after lunch usually another cup to get through the day."

Ending on a sweet note, she added: "I love him."
