Kim Cattrall Gave Sex & the City Fans an Epic Samantha Moment in New SKIMS Campaign

Fans of Sex and the City don’t have to replay that brief cameo of Kim Cattrall portraying Samantha Jones in the latest season of And Just Like That... All they have to do is check out Kim Kardashian’s latest SKIMS campaign where she enlisted the help of the 67-year-actress.

Cattrall looked stunning decked out in SKIMS Mid-Thigh Bodysuit in Onyx, and judging from her on-camera delivery — she was feeling pretty confident, too. It was an epic moment that Samantha Jones would approve of. Speaking directly to the camera she asked, “How do I feel about SKIMS?” Then she teased, “Oh, you’d like to know, wouldn’t you?”

That’s when Sex and the City fans heard that mischievous Samantha giggle that is so familiar to audiences over its seven-season run. “Freakin’ fabulous,” she summed up as she swung her toned legs into a seductive pose. There are several other clips of Cattrall showing off her shapely physique, but it’s only fitting that she also got the closing shot of the promotional video. She concluded, “Everybody is wearing SKIMS” as she gave that familiar Samantha wave. Everybody’s favorite character no longer resides in Manhattan with Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda, but she’s still there if you look closely enough.

Cattrall isn’t a series regular on And Just Like That, but she was persuaded to briefly reprise her role in honor of Sex and the City‘s 25th anniversary. The short, but sweet, moment seemed to be a satisfying end for everyone. “It’s very interesting to get a call from the head of HBO saying, ‘What can we do?’ I went, ‘Hmmm. Let me get creative,'” Cattrall said on The View in June. “And one of those things was to get [costume designer] Pat Field back. I just thought, ‘If I’m gonna come back, I’ve got to come back with that kind of Samantha style. I’ve got to push it.’ And we did.”
