Dhanush’s upcoming Tamil period action-adventure film, Captain Miller, is gearing up to hit the theatres during Pongal 2024. Fans got a sneak peek into the movie’s intense world with the release of its first song “Killer Killer” on November 22, 2023.

Dhanush’s Captain Miller to release on Pongal 2024
Killer Killer, the first song of Captain Miller, takes a bold step into the realm of horrorcore, a subgenre of hip-hop that explores darker themes. It is sung by Dhanush, who takes the lead role in the film. Kaber Vasuki pens the song’s lyrics, which gives a layer of depth to the character of Captain Miller. Captain Miller draws its title inspiration from Analeesan, the first suicide bomber of the Tamil militant group Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). Dhanush, in the titular role, leads a renegade group executing heists against the backdrop of the 1930s and 1940s. All things considered, it adds a historical layer to the film’s narrative.

The director Arun Matheswaran, known for his penchant for intense storytelling, hints at a film filled with bloodshed and adrenaline-pumping action sequences. Building on his previous success with films like Rocky, the director promises a thunderous cinematic experience.
