Kill Bill's Vivica A Fox wants Spider-Man's Zendaya to play her daughter in third movie

Kill Bill star Vivica A Fox has revealed she wants Spider-Man's Zendaya to play her daughter in a potential third movie.

The actress played Venita Green in Kill Bill: Vol 1 and 2, and with it being confirmed that Quentin Tarantino and lead star Uma Thurman have been in talks about a third instalment with Vivica dishing more on that in May, she's shared some of her own thoughts about Kill Bill: Vol 3.

"I haven’t got any official word… I had a feeling that hopefully [Tarantino] was waiting on [the actress who plays] my daughter to grow up a little bit," Fox told NME.

Although she would have liked to have seen Ambrosia Kelley return as her daughter, having starred in the first two films as a child, Fox explained how she was once pushed during another interview to name a more established actress for the role.

"So I went, Zendaya! How hot would that be?" she said. "And that would probably green light this project. Because her and Uma are both very tall, and it would just be kick-butt, and I love her."

She continued: "Hopefully now we can put that out, like ‘Tarantino, cast Zendaya!’ And spark his interest to put it on the fast track. Wouldn’t it be amazing?"

Asked about a potential remake of the first film, and who should play Thurman’s Beatrix Kiddo and her own character Vernita if it were to happen, Fox was in no doubt.

"Uma Thurman and Vivica of course! We’d come back and reprise our roles," she said.

"I’d get on the phone with my agent immediately, making sure that I could be a part of it. Tarantino has a great way of figuring out how to bring a character back even if they died, in a flashback or something. People have been waiting, and I’m in the waiting line too!"
