Kieran Culkin Says His Golden Globe Is Currently Living Between His Kids' Sesame Street Stuffed Animals

The father of two is keeping his Golden Globe close to some other family gems

Kieran Culkin's kids are enjoying his award-season success as much as he is.

Asked where his recent Golden Globe trophy resides in his home, the Succession actor, 41, shared it has a very special place in his family home.

"My kids have these two little stuffies of Bert and Ernie, so the Globe is currently between Bert and Ernie," he told Variety on the 2023 Emmy Awards red carpet.

Joking that his Critics' Choice Award would go "next to Big Bird," Culkin expressed why a Big Bird stuffed animal hasn't joined the collection.

"The problem with the Big Bird stuffie is he's the same size as all the others," he said. "Grover, Elmo, you got all of them. They're all the same size and I wanted to get a Big Bird, but it's not big."

Culkin and wife and wife Jazz Charton are parents to son Wilder Wolf, 2, and daughter Kinsey Sioux, 4.

In an interview from the Variety Golden Globes pre-show, the Succession actor revealed that his outfit had a sweet gesture towards to his two kids. While chatting, Culkin pulled up his sleeve to show off his custom friendship bracelets, which featured his two kids' names.

"Hi guys! Go to sleep!" the dad of two told his son and daughter as he continued with his interview.

In May, Culkin's wife shared sweet photos of the actor with their kids on Instagram. In the photos, Culkin showed his kids around Succession character Logan Roy’s apartment, posing with his kids on the spiral staircase and hugging his daughter Kinsey on a chair.

“The alternate reality Roman where he’s a dad but still an arsehold (♥️ ),” Charton teased in the caption.

Charton moved to New York City from London in September 2010 and met her husband in 2012 at a bar. They have kept a relatively low profile together ever since. The couple tied the knot privately in 2013 while on a road trip in Iowa.

Shortly after their son was born, Culkin joked about the pair's growing family. While on the red carpet at the 2022 Screen Actors Guild awards, he said that he couldn't help but feel guilty for his child-free night out.

"I'll tell ya, leaving my wife behind with the two kids, I do feel bad that I'm at a lovely hotel having martinis with friends," he told PEOPLE. "So, sorry honey. I'm trying to paint a picture that it's awful, it's dreadful, but I'm kind of having a lovely time." The actor added that life as a father of two had been both "wonderful" and "nuts" so far.
