Your kids can watch big-screen films for $1.75 this summer — here’s how

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Summertime means many things — like no more school, more time at the pool and trying to keep cool. For some parents, summertime also means finding ways to spend time together as a family and keep the kids from getting bored.

One potential option for parents this summer is cheap movies as some Cinemark theaters in Utah are offering a potential solution: popular kids’ movies starting at $1.75 per ticket.

The cheap tickets are part of Cinemark’s Summer Movie Clubhouse promotion. The website for the Summer Movie Clubhouse clarifies that moviegoers will still have to pay for “applicable taxes” which may vary depending on if you buy the tickets online or in person.

The tickets are the same price for children and adults, but children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult.

Each movie is set to play for three days, with 10 movies offered at various Cinemark locations across the country — and around Utah — during the 10-week promotion.
