Multiplatinum pop sensations New Kids on the Block will bring the Magic Summer Tour to Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix on July 9, 2024.
Reimagining the smash 1990 tour of the same name, Donnie, Joey, Jordan, Jonathan and Danny will bring back the magic for fans old and new with special guests Paula Abdul and DJ Jazzy Jeff.
As announced on "GMA" this morning, the tour, produced by Live Nation, will kick off on June 14, 2024, and hit more than 40 cities including Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.
New Kids on the Block have promised to perform their greatest hits, unexpected fan favorites and surprise songs.
Fans should expect a summer of fun and nostalgia as the New Kids embark on their first mostly outdoor venue tour in 15 years, including some venues they performed at on the original Magic Summer Tour.
The 1990 Magic Summer Tour took place at the height of New Kids’ success and included multinight stops at the band’s hometown Foxboro Stadium, Dodgers Stadium, Giants Stadium and many others.
The band collaborated with Harry Blackstone Jr. to stage magic and illusions in their performance and won a magic award for their contributions to the medium throughout their tour.

In a press release, Donnie Wahlberg said, “The true ‘magic’ of this tour is in the music, the moments and the memories that we get to create — and recreate — with our amazing fans each night. Feeling all the nostalgic feels of the original Magic Summer, with the bond that we’ve shared throughout the years, will make for a most magical time indeed.”
More than 3 million fans attended the Magic Summer Tour worldwide.
On Nov. 3, the New Kids will release a revamped version of the 2008 comeback album, “The Block,” as “The Block Revisited,” celebrating 15 years since their return to the music scene.

The general on-sale begins at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at LiveNation.com.

Tickets will be available starting with fan club and CITI presales on Wednesday, Nov. 1, with additional presales running throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale.
Citi is the official card of the Magic Summer 2024 Tour, giving cardmembers access to purchase presale tickets from noon Wednesday, Nov. 1, through 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at www.citientertainment.com.
