Kid steals this talent show when he interrupts song with 'Star Wars' imperial march

Dun. Dun. Dun. Dun.

Sometimes internet gold is discovered long after the viral moment has happened.

That's the case for this little guy when a family member posted a year-old video of him interrupting a talent show to sing the "Star Wars" imperial march.

Erin Gibson shared the clip on Twitter on March 26 with a message: "Sometimes when I need to laugh, I think about the time my cousin’s son took over a group rendition of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to sing the Imperial March," she wrote.

The young "Star Wars" fan in the video is then 2-year-old Jake and he's next to his then 4-year-old sister Ella and his cousin.

The siblings are now 3 and 5 respectively and their last names have been withheld at the request of their parents to protect their privacy.

A family friend shared with USA TODAY that the brilliant performance happened during a talent show at a family reunion in July.

Jake initially refused to go on stage, but after he saw big sis up there, he had to jump in and sing. He chose his favorite song—Darth Vader's theme composed by John Williams. It's probably one of the most recognizable movie themes.

The video has been viewed more than 8 million times, and that includes Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill who tweeted the clip saying, "The Dark Side is strong in him!"

Gibson said that when she tweeted the video last summer, it didn't get many shares. She added that she had deleted it but brought it back after an "extra negative week" and that she was "not expecting this."
