American music star Kid Rock is under-fire after making lewd comments about TV icon Oprah Winfrey while performing - with stunned fans branding him “racist”.

A video clip taken at the star’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N' Roll Steakhouse in Nashville, shows a visibly drunk Kid Rock stumbling around the stage and making sexual comments about 65-year-old Winfrey.

The clip sees him commenting: “Oprah Winfrey is like “Hey, I just want women to believe in this s**t”. F**k her.

“She can suck my d**k sideways.

“And if you say that people say, ‘Hey, I'm pretty sure Kid Rock's a racist.’ I'm like, ‘OK fine." F**k off'.

"‘You're f**king racist", I'm like, "You're f**king weird’.”

The comments prompted boos and jeers from the crowd, apparently unhappy with the musician’s comments.

“He's racist. Look at him he's blacked out drunk as f**k,” one witness is heard saying.

Another yelled: “This is so racist!”

But the star was unperturbed, continuing: “F**k Oprah Winfrey.

“I'm the guy you want like ‘Hey, I want Kid Rock on my side’. I'm not the bad guy, I'm just an honest guy.”

The end of the clip sees the 48-year-old being removed from the stage by someone who looks to be from the sheriff's department.

It isn’t the first time Oprah Winfrey has been the target of Kid Rock’s scorn.

He namechecks her in 2001 song Forever. The lyrics read: “Thick like Al Rowker, Pumpin out hits, Gettin chips like Oprah, B***h I told ya, do not hate, Or question the music I make.”

He also took aim at her in a 2008 interview with The Independent. He said: “My real-life villain... Oprah Winfrey, she rubs me up the wrong way.

“I just don't believe her. Maybe it's because I'm not one of the 150 million brainwashed women who heed her every word.”
