    To say that old school rock star Kid Rock is somewhat of a controversial figure is putting it lightly. He's loud, brash and full of rock star swagger that has kept his fans in awe since he first debuted in the '90s. His style is a mismatch of various genres but one thing has always been certain; he's outspoken and could care less about what anyone has to say. Which has always been evident since he's never been one to shy away from controversy.

    Originally when he first hit the scene Rock (government name Robert James Ritchie) had musical influences steeped heavily in rock and roll as well as hip hop, though as his career wore on he shied away from hip hop to primarily focus on a mix of rock and country music. It was a shift that turned into massive success as his albums soon found a solid and steady foundation with fans all over the world. However aside from his music his public persona has also kept his name in the headlines.

    Rock has never been shy about his past or the mistakes he's made, especially when it comes to his love life. Many will recall his relationship with former Playboy pinup Pamela Anderson in 2006 which ultimately lead to divorce after only four months of marriage. Then there was the incident that followed between Rock and Anderson's former spouse Tommy Lee during the MTV Video Music Awards. From MTV;

    According to eyewitnesses, Lee — sitting at the same table as Diddy — jawed at Rock as he made his way toward the Bad Boy CEO, with whom he was supposed to present the show's final performance. It wasn't clear exactly what Lee said to Rock, but apparently, after his words, Rock slapped the drummer, according to eyewitnesses. Lee, one eyewitness said, attempted to fight back but, before he was able to land a blow, was punched in the face by Rock.

    Rock is once again making headlines, but this time for a rant he went on regarding media mogul Oprah Winfrey. Fox News reports that during a night out in a Nashville bar Rock went off on a tangent that may have been fueled by alcohol.

    The 48-year-old musician was at the Big A-- Honky Tonk Rock N' Roll Steakhouse in Nashville when he yelled into the microphone, "F--- Oprah. Oprah Winfrey is like 'Hey, I just want women to believe in this sh--'. F--- her. She can s--- d--- sideways," according to video obtained by TMZ. "And if you say that, people say, 'Hey, I'm pretty sure Kid Rock's a racist.' I'm, like, 'OK, fine'. F--- off'," he added.

    Oh, but it didn't end there. Rock also had a few choice words for veteran The View co-host Joy Behar as well.

    Kid, real name Robert James Ritchie, also took aim at "The View" co-host Joy Behar before he was escorted offstage by security. "I'm not a bad guy, I'm just an honest guy saying I don't like Oprah Winfrey or Joy Behar," he said.

    So far no word on whether Behar or Winfrey have responded, though they'll probably both just write it off as a drunken rant not meant to be taken seriously. Check out Kid Rock's NSFW rant below.
