On Kicking & Screaming, contestants were challenged with a game of “Fear Pong,” which is kind of like beer pong, but instead of getting drunk off of delicious liquids, you get sick off of disgusting foods. The contestants tossed pineapples into their opponents’ buckets and each bucket had a surprise jungle treat beneath it, such as bat wings, live giant grubs, and live worms.
Natalie tossed the first pineapple in the bucket, sending Elaine and Jason to eat the first delicacy: bat wings. Elaine really went for it, as she did when she had to eat worms, creating a sort of zen aura around herself, making her impervious to the wriggling textures in her mouth.
Juliana was none too happy about her moving meal, a giant grub about the size of a roll of quarters, but after a pep talk, she got the grub down while Ben almost wretched it right up.
Natalie found the trick to eating live food was to say nice things to it, telling her live grub “I’m so sorry,” before it went down the hatch.
