More from Deadline

Titan is set against the backdrop of Brazil’s Curuçá River in the present day. When a team of young doctors embark on a local humanitarian mission through the Amazon rainforest, it soon becomes clear that not everyone – or everything – is happy to see them. Their arrival draws the attention of an ancient predator, the “Boiúna”. This ancient killer, dominant on land and water, clashes to reclaim the jungle. The ensuing fight for survival blurs the roles of hunter, prey, and hero.

The film is a Constantin Film/JB Pictures production, with Robert Kulzer of Constantin Film (Resident Evil franchise) and Jeremy Bolt (Resident Evil franchise) of JB Pictures producing.

Executive producers are Sam Hall and Michael Rothstein for north.five.six. The latter is the sales company formerly known as Mossbank, but which last year was rebranded following new investment.

Mike P. Nelson’s credits include V/H/S/85, Wrong Turn and The Domestics. Madeira is best known for the Fear Street trilogy, Brother, the After franchise, and Trinkets. Rothe is known for the Happy Death Day movies, Boy Kills World, and Valley Girl.

Kiana Madeira is repped by Verve, Ambition, Luber Roklin, John Meigs & TFG. Jessica Rothe is repped by United Talent Agency, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern. Mike P. Nelson is repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Writ Large, and Jackoway et al.
