Khloe Kardashian's sisters Kim and Kourtney speak out amid cheating scandal

Khloe Kardashian's sisters, Kim and Kourtney, came to her defense in very different ways on Thursday amid allegations that Tristan Thompson cheated on her with Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods.

Kim's fierce defense of her younger sister was the more fervent of the two. Alongside paparazzi footage of Khloe attending a Pretty Little Thing event with BFF Malika Haqq on Wednesday night, someone wrote, "If someone cheats on you publicly. Y'all going outside the next day?"

TMZ reported earlier in the day that Khloe attended the event because she had committed to appearing at the store opening prior to the cheating allegations surfacing, and Kim backed up that claim on Twitter.

"Would you prefer she lose the [money] too? A single mom has to work too boo!" she wrote. "This was a professional commitment planned far in advance and you better believe she is not waiting on anyone to pay her bills or provide for her daughter. PERDIODT!!!"

Kim has also unfollowed both Jordyn and Tristan on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Kourtney took to Instagram to share a photo of herself that seemingly addressed the situation, but its meaning requires a bit more reading between the lines.

The oldest of the sisters posted a black-and-white picture of herself topless in nothing but a towel and a diamond necklace shaped like a snake.

"Diamonds are a girl's best friend," she captioned the post.

If you connect the dots that Jordyn Woods is Kylie Jenner's best friend and Kourtney is wearing a diamond necklace shaped like a snake, one can presume that the intention of Kourtney's post is to call Jordyn a snake.

She had previously posted another cryptic photo on her Instagram Story, of a sweater adorned with the phrase, "Welcome to California, now leave."

Khloe herself has opted for several cryptic quotes that she posted on her own Instagram Story, albeit ones that allude to betrayal.

"The worst pain is gettin hurt by a person you explained your pain to," one quote read.

"Somebody needs to hear this," another said. "That betrayal was your blessing!!!"

"If they ask you about me, tell them: She was the only person that loved me with honesty, and I broke her," the third quote she posted read.

Kylie has yet to post anything that alludes to the scandal directly, though she did post a video of herself alone in her Hidden Hills mansion on Wednesday night, which, when you consider that Jordyn moved out that same night, is definitely telling in and of itself.

Another sign that she could be sending to her best friend came when her beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics, slashed the prices of the "Jordy" Velvet Liquid Lipstick Lip Kit, which was named after Jordyn. The Kylie x Jordyn BFF makeup collection is still listed at full price, however.
